HUM NAGRIK HAIN #3

Nagrik India conducted the third session of its flagship Hum Nagrik Hain civic literacy programme at Playways Senior Secondary School, engaging approximately 70 students of Class X. The one-hour interactive session explored digital citizenship and cyber safety, fundamental rights, the Right to Information (RTI), environmental responsibility, and the role of young people in everyday civic life. Through visual hooks, real-world examples, discussion, and student participation, the session sought to move civic education beyond textbook concepts and connect it with situations students encounter in their daily lives. The programme concluded with a civic awareness survey, allowing students to reflect on the session and contribute their perspectives to Nagrik India's ongoing efforts to understand and strengthen youth civic literacy. The session marked the third school engagement under Hum Nagrik Hain, following programmes at Government Senior Secondary School, Bhankhar and Veer Haqeeqat Rai Senior Secondary School.
